Management Reception Remarks

Ladies and Gentlemen, members of the Embassy staff and all of our wonderful friends and contacts in San Salvador’s business community.  

On behalf of the Management section of the Embassy, and my wife Dee Dee, I’d like to welcome you to the Residence as a small token of our appreciation for all of the support and friendship that you have shown the Embassy over many years. 

We look upon each as you as a vital partner in all that we do here in San Salvador. 

And while I am usually engaged with government and public officials, I never forget that it is you, along with members of our staff, who keep the Embassy operating on a daily basis and ensure that our many public events are successful. 

For that dedication to your work, which allows us all to further the close relationship between the governments of the United States and El Salvador, I welcome and salute you.
