US Delegation meets President Saca

The US Delegation, headed by Secretary of Commerce Don Evans met President Elias Antonio Saca.

Other members of the U.S. delegation to the Salvadoran presidential inauguration included U.S. Ambassador to El Salvador H. Douglas Barclay; Colorado Lt. Governor Jane Norton; Director of the Bureau of Citizen and Immigration Services of the Department of Homeland Security Eduardo Aguirre; President Bush's Special Envoy for Western Hemisphere Affairs on the National Security Council Otton Reich; President of Mothers Against Repression Sylvia Iriondo, and Associate Professor of Law at Catholic University Dr. Helen Alvare.

Also present in the inaugural events, which was held at the Feria International in the capital city of San Salvador, were Governor Jeb Bush of Florida and Governor Sonny Perdue of Georgia.
