potable water systems in rural schools

Ligia de Saca participated in the ceremony to inaugurate
new potable water systems in rural schools in Amatitán
Abajo, San Esteban Catarina, San Vicente.
The US Government through USAID has provided $571,000 for
the construction of 53 potable water systems that will benefit
rural schools in the departments of La Paz and San Vicente.
The water systems will benefit more than 7,000 children.
PROCOSAL is the NGO in charge of the projects in the 53
schools in the area; and it has provided $144,131 dollars
in funding.
