Ambassador Participates in Pediatric Ward Inauguration

On July 13, Ambassador Charles L. Glazer, along with Salvadoran President Elias Antonio Saca, participated in the opening ceremony of the Pediatric Ward of the National Hospital in San Francisco Gotera, Morazan.

The pediatric ward was renovated as part of New Horizons 06 which took place 4 Mar - 6 May 2006 in the Department of Morazan.

During this New Horizons exercise 3 schools and 2 clinics were constructed and 3 wells were dug. 

Additionally, 15,238 persons received medical attention during the 3 MEDRETEs that were part of the New Horizons exercise, the tenth exercise of its kind in El Salvador since 1993.
