Ambassador Witnesses Swearing-in of FOMILENIO Board Members

Ambassador Charles L. Glazer participated in the swearing-in of three new members of the Board of Directors of FOMILENIO on August 27.

President Saca named Mr. Eduardo Ayala Grimaldi, former Vice Minister of the Economy and newly appointed Technical Advisor to the President, as one of the governmental representatives to FOMILENIO.

In addition, the President named Juan Marco Alvarez and Francisco Soto Monterrosa to the Board to represent environmental interests.  The newest members will assume their positions on September 1.  FOMILENIO is in charge of administering and overseeing the implementation of the $461 million compact signed by El Salvador and the Millenium Challenge Corporation (MCC).

 Johanna Hill Dutriz will replace Mr. Ayala as Vice Minister of the Economy.
