November 9 , 2007
*****

On Tuesday, November 6, a team of close to 40 JTF Bravo members- composed of military doctors and support personnel-participated in a medical brigade for the people of Corinto, Morazán.
Two thousand six hundred people, from 12 cantons in the vicinity, received medical treatment in the areas of general medicine, pediatrics, gynecology, ophthalmology and dentistry.
“It’s such a big experience for us. Particularly when we can take care of children and the elderly, that really touches our hearts”, said JTF Bravo’s mission commander Lieutenant Coronel Esmeraldo Zarzabal.
The medical brigade, organized by the Salvadoran armed forces, was supported by doctors from the National Health System and from the non-profit organization (FUDEM), in addition to the U.S. military.
