On December 4, Dr. Rafael Lara-Martinez, professor at the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, who has worked as a guest professor at the University of El Salvador and Don Bosco University under the auspices of the United States Government's Fulbright Scholar Program, presented his latest publication.  

The book, entitled “Del Dictado” (From Dictation), is a thorough investigation of the celebrated novel published by Roque Dalton under the title “Miguel Mármol: The events of ‘32 in El Salvador”.  

This book is the result of a rigorous study of literary historiography that Lara-Martínez conducted on the early editions of the text and the original notebook in which Dalton recorded discussions he had in Prague with Miguel Mármol, survivor of the massacres of 1932..
