Public Affairs Section Donates 200 Books to Hospital General-ISSS

The Cultural Affairs Officer delivered the books for the ISSS patients

Representatives of the US Embassy-San Salvador visited Hospital General – ISSS (Salvadoran Institute of Social Security) to donate over 200 books and a book cart to the hospital’s library. This donation will serve recovering patients staying in the hospital for extended periods of time.

The donation, which contains many titles by American authors (such as Mark Twain and Ernest Hemingway), and also many world classics and self improvement/ motivational works, was received by Dr. Gianira Chavez de Benitez, Chief of Education at Hospital General and their Library Director, Carmen de Salinas.
