Ambassador Glazer and Mrs. Glazer visit ADOC’s social responsibility project

On July 15, Ambassador Charles L. Glazer and his wife Janet visited the ADOC training center, which serves 51 young public school students from the Soyapango area. The students are selected for the program based on their good grades and they receive English, values and computer science classes. They also have access to the center’s computer room and a small library.

Mr. Roberto Palomo and his son Jaime, owners of the shoe manufacturing company explained that the center was created as a social responsibility initiative to offer new opportunities to the youth of the area.

Afterwards, Ambassador and Mrs. Glazer toured the ADOC factory with Mr. Roberto and Mr. Jaime Palomo who explained the production process and talked about the experience the company has acquired in its 55 years of doing business.
